Summer Knitty is up!

And I'm out. I'm going to walk and breathe a little bit of fresh air.

And tonight, people -- party. WITH CAKE. Hub bought two cakes, and you have to see them. So I believe there will be cake enough for everyone and their dog. We're also celebrating Lettuce Knit's move to their new digs, just a smidge to the left. Woo hoo!

Please come. I think this celebration is going to be a whopper!

Date: Wednesday, July 5, 2006 [TONIGHT!]
Time: 7pm until they kick us out

Swag: You bet! Door prizes up the wazoo!

When I looked at the new Knitty, all I could think was OMG! OMG! OMG! All my current obsessions in ONE issue!!!! I'm so currently hooked on all things gloves, I thought it couldn't get any better, and then I saw the MONKEY HAT!!!! My nephew is owed a Christmas present from last year, and this is so perfect, you can't imagine!!!!! Thanks for another WONDERFUL issue! And congrats on the realization of a dream - I want to be at Lettuce so bad, but the commute is a bit far!

I am completelly and totally bummed that I missed it. I've been looking forward to that party for a week. Then, at 4:30 was handed a project that HAS to be done by 5:00 today. So instead of having fun with you and all the knitters I was researching Corporate Tax law (and I'm not a lawyer!) How unfair is that??!! Hope it was a wonderful party - you totally deserve it. Congratulations!
