our homage to Zimmermann [courtesy Harlot]

All photos in this post are thanks to the kind hands and camera of Stephanie PM last Wednesday at Lettuce Knit. Thanks, Steph!

Aleta plays Zimmermann on the back of the Vespa. We are parked, btw. I wouldn't contravene the conditions of my license!

it's hard to look sassy when you're wearing a white hoodie, but i tried.

love this shot.

Love the pictures! And I love them even if they remind me how much I miss Toronto, and Kensington Market, and Lettuce Knit, and Megan, and you all... Can't wait to go again!

You were MADE for that Vespa! Now, I think that in the spirit of it all you need one of those looooooooooong scarves to toss around your neck jauntily and have flying in the breeze as you scoot along!!!!

These might be the cutest pics ever! I'm so jealous of your Vespa. It looks like you've been on it forever.

OH! How fun! I love the bag with the map too. It's like you have your map of the city ready for quick viewing (heheh)

The Vespa looks superfun, I loved the bag too. And just what are those shoes peeking out, I think they look supercute.

You were born to ride that Vespa! I'm sure your Gran is very happy for you!

i want one.

don't get the scarf! didn't somebody famous die that way?

You are the coolest thing in all the land. Even in a white hoodie. (What's wrong with white hoodies, I wonder?)

Isadora Duncan! No scarf!

I too, am jealous of the vespa. Unfortunately, I think I am too old to look so cool on one.

whhooooooo hooooooooooooooooo!!!!

Your Vespa is great and you look fantastic on it!

Marc and I have been talking about getting Vespas for years. It's harder for me to justify now that I work just a few blocks from home, but who said a Vespa needs justification. Right?

Your Vespa ia really beautiful.
I own an old red Vespa, born (made if you prefer) in 1985, I don't have a driving license so I have to stay behind the driver! It's a good idea to knit but my husband is tooooo large and leaves me a little space!

Ah, what a beautiful thing it is! Wish I were you. Our climate is not Vespa-friendly: high heat and humidity, frequent rains. Still....

Happy knitting,
Barbara-Kay in Zachary, LA

Those are Fab photos. And you do look sassy!

Love it love it love it and agree with the delightful Dr. Steph -- you are awesomely sassy.

Omg, omg, I leave for ONE WEEK and this is what happens? When the heck did you get a scooter?

It was great meeting you Amy - the rumors are true, you're a hoot! :)
Thanks for your patience while I traipsed around for working batteries, and also on the tip about HandMaiden; some came home in my luggage wouldn't you know?

Exactly why I continue to live vicariously through your coolness.
