how much is too much?

So I bought a new helmet. After taking the motorcycle safety course [oh, the wonders of push steering for tight corners! I am a new woman!], I couldn't ignore the safety factor any further. Had to do it. Full-face it is, then.

If you don't wear motorcycle helmets, you might not know this: each brand is shaped differently. Round heads, oval heads, whatever. HJC seems to fit me best. This is the CL-15, affordable, fits me. Oh, and it's pink. And of course, I've got that crazy pink leopard seat cover, so there was a bit of pink overload at LK tonight.

Rachel H saw my new helmet and said she couldn't imagine a helmet being more pink than this one.

Here, Rachel. I live to serve.

P.S. My proper riding jacket is black with aqua arms. Not pink. Okay?

Man I bet that looks awesome with your seat cover! I'm so jealous that I could just pass out from envy. I'm going to start saving my pennies so that I can get myself a Vespa with all the trimmings some day.

Ya know what ya could do or better yet... Philly: for an upcoming brithday, anniversary, holiday or "your so special I had to get you this" present get a helmet and then take it to an airbrush artist who will put a pink leopard face on it! Kinda like Curtis Josephs goalie mask.

You can never have too much pink... my jacket and helmet are both pink (helmet is more like yours but last years model... not the pink power rangers one). I love them and I love that they match, even though I'm only ever a passenger!

you might get sick of the pink after a few years. I used to have a pink bike helmet, pink bike rack bag, pink jet ski, pink wetsuit... then I started feeling like I was looking silly, but still... it does look good!
