ah.

that's better.

- new Knitty is up [clear your cache, folks].

- Boeing is acting more like herself...enough so that we feel comfortable going on a family trip that really couldn't be cancelled [dad's big birthday party]. she'll be staying, with little Squeezle, at the bunny spa, so they'll be able to watch her in case she gets wiggly again. but she won't. because i told her not to.

- and now I can get back to my last-minute knitting. :-)

happy sigh.

I truly believe this is one of my favorite knitty "issues". I'm having some problems however because the entire world is on the site and I keep getting a busy signal when I want to see another awesome pattern. Thanks to all the wonderful designers and especially the Knittys who put this together!!

How are you reducing the calcium in the bunnies' diet? Were you giving them spinach?

I have to go check calcium in the bunny pellets now!

thanks, everyone!

kim, we were giving a good basic pellet (we thought) and it's got only 0.8% calcium. BUT the first ingredient on the label is alfalfa, and we all know that's a no no. they have only had timothy hay since they were 7-8 months old. but they were refusing veg, so we had them on pellets and hay only, and the pellets are likely the problem because of this.

we're switching to the oxbow timothy pellets, already giving them more veg (no spinach, no worries!) and boeing has started eating more hay for some reason.

dang, this is complicated stuff.
