Each issue, Knitty reviews items of interest to
knitters, including spinning fiber and tools, yarn,
accessories, kits and books. You can see a few examples
of our review pages
here and
here.
We read the books and test the products that are
sent to us. For that reason, press releases sent
to the Knitty e-mail address will not result in
a review. We need to see and touch and test each
item before we can write about it.
To have your knitting-related product
or book reviewed in a future issue of Knitty, send

Knitty's
Yarn Roundtables are held monthly. They are casual,
fun events, where knitters will have the opportunity
to knit with yarns they may not have touched or even
seen before. Comments are collected, and the most
liked, most interesting or most surprising yarns
will be featured in Knitty. These events are popular
and the 30 available spots per evening are often
filled in less than 24 hours.
In order to have your
yarn[s] included in an upcoming yarn tasting event,
please send at least three skeins of one type of yarn,
each in a different colorway. Multiple submissions
[more than one type of yarn] are welcome! We obviously
don't expect -- or want -- you to send your whole line,
but the newest, most interesting, or your hidden gems?
That's what we'd love to see. Please include the
suggested retail price for each yarn.
Yarns
that do not receive good feedback will not be reviewed
in Knitty, in accordance with our review policy. We
will contact you privately with details should there
be concerns about something you've sent to us.
